Applying Professional ScrumTM (APS) is a hands-on, activity based course in which students experience how Professional Scrum and the Scrum framework improve their ability to deliver value compared to traditional methods. The course provides an active learning environment for students to engage in discussion, team-based exercises, and individual reflection. During the course, students work in Scrum Teams over a series of Sprints to learn Scrum while using Scrum.

Professional ScrumTM with Kanban (PSK) is a 2-day course that teaches Scrum practitioners how to apply Kanban practices to their work without changing Scrum. Through theory, case studies, and hands-on exercises, participants will understand the importance of transparency and flow as it pertains to the Scrum framework.

Professional Scrum Master™ (PSM) is an interactive, activity-based course where students gain a strong understanding of Professional Scrum and the role of the Scrum Master. Through a combination of discussion and exercises, students develop a deep understanding of the underlying principles of Scrum and the Agile mindset while learning the practices applied by successful Scrum Teams.  Students leave the PSM course feeling both challenged and excited by the opportunity that Professional Scrum will provide them and their teams.

Professional Scrum Master™ - Advanced (PSM-A) 

Professional Scrum Master™ - Advanced (PSM-A) course is a 2-day* advanced Scrum Master class designed to support Scrum Masters in their professional development.  (This course was previously called Professional Scrum Master II) The PSM-A course is intended for Scrum Masters with at least one year of experience who are looking to grow their knowledge and abilities as a Scrum Master. This course is one step in that journey. 

Professional Scrum Product OwnerTM (PSPO) is a 2-day course focused on teaching students how to maximize the value of products and systems. This cutting-edge course is for Product Owners, Agile product managers and others responsible for a product’s success in the market. In this course, students develop and solidify their knowledge of being a Product Owner through instruction and team-based exercises.

Professional Scrum Product Owner™ - Advanced (PSPO-A) is a hands-on, activity-based course that focuses on helping experienced Product Owners and Product Managers expand their ability to establish a vision, validate their hypotheses, and ultimately deliver more value to their stakeholders. The course goes beyond the topics explored in the Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) class by deepening the attendee's understanding of the role through the exploration of the many stances of a professional Product Owner.

Certifications

If you want to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the Scrum framework and how it is applied, Scrum.org certifications are a great way to do so. All of our certification tests embody the principles of Professional Scrum while providing a way for you to assess your current abilities and identify areas for improvement. Scrum.org has certifications covering topics that range from the fundamentals of Scrum, Scrum accountabilities, and topics beyond the Scrum framework - practices that complement Professional Scrum.

Scrum.org certifications are highly respected because they are based on the Professional Scrum Competencies and not based simply on attendance. The test truly validates your knowledge. You must receive a score 85% or higher on the test in order to pass and receive the certification.
